Coming up with the perfect name for your child isn’t always easy. Kylie Jenner found this out when it came to naming her youngest son, Aire. Before she decided to call him Aire, she had other names in mind.
Wolf, Aire or…
Kylie Jenner recently made some interesting revelations in an interview with British Vogue. She revealed that she and ex Travis Scott had a lot of different names they could have given their son Aire. He is now two years old and was due in 2022. Jenner said that her two pregnancies affected her in different ways. Aire is her second child, while her first child, Stormi, is now six. “Probably with my son it was major baby blues, so I was just so emotional about things that I probably wouldn’t be that emotional about.” The reality star explained that she would spend every day on the phone with her mother in tears because she couldn’t make a decision about her baby’s name. “Now my advice to all my friends who have children is pick the name before, because when the hormones hit you can’t make decisions. You can’t.” After Aire was born, Kylie felt really bad about not being able to name him. “I felt like such a failure that I couldn’t name him.”
But which names came before the final name, Aire? One of the first names her son was given was Knight. This turned out to be the favorite name for the baby of daughter Stormi. After the birth, Kylie had posted about the name of her child being Wolf. But a month after his birth, his name had already been changed. Kylie realized that the name did not fit the personality of her son.
Co-parenting with Travis Scott
Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner haven’t been together for a while. Kylie is currently dating actor Timothée Chalamet. But since Scott is the father of both Aire and Stormi, they still have co-parenting rights. In an interview with British Vogue, the ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star talked about how she experiences this. She explained that when Kylie is not at home, for example when she is abroad for an event, the children are with their father. So the children spend part of their time in California, where Kylie lives, and part of their time in Texas, where Travis lives.
