Take a strand on the left front of your hair and braid it slightly to the right. Once you’ve reached your ear, switch to regular braiding. Grab an elastic band in your own hair color to secure this braid. Then take the rest of your hair and make a nice braid towards your right side, with the small braid incorporated into the large one.

A waterfall braid looks more difficult than it is! It looks the same as a braid, but here you actually only use two strands of hair, which you twist around each other. You then always let a third strand fall between the other two. Click here for a clear tutorial. Create a waterfall braid from one side of your head to the other and curl the strands that come out from under the braid.

This hairstyle can be done by anyone with (medium) long hair and it is also super simple. Divide the front of your hair into two halves. Make a braid from both halves and secure both braids with pins at the back of your head, towards the ear on the other side. Hide the ends of the braids in the rest of your hair.

This hairstyle is particularly suitable for ladies with lots of long hair. Divide your hair into two halves (top and bottom) and make a donut bun (click here for a tutorial) from the top half. Secure this as high as possible on your head. From the bottom half of your hair you also make two halves, left and right. Twist the right half to the left around your donut bun and secure the section at the end with pins. Then turn the left half to the right around the bun and secure it in the same way.

A ponytail with a twist! Take two long, large strands at the front of your hair and make two braids. Braid the strands approximately halfway, then secure them with clips on the front of your head. Then create a ponytail, leaving a section of hair hanging loose at the bottom of your hair. Make sure the two braids are long enough so that you can secure them against your ponytail. Twist the remaining hair around the tail. To finish it off neatly, use the last strand at the bottom of your hair. You twist this around the base of the tail. Make sure you hide all pins nicely. To make it look calm, style your ponytail.

Straighten your hair and create a low ponytail. Backcomb this one. Twist the strand a few times and make a bun. Try to rotate the strand often, so that some strands stick out of the bun here and there. Secure the bun and carefully let some strands hang loose at the front.

For this ponytail you need volume at the top of your hair. Do this by distributing a large dollop of mousse in (the top of) your hair after washing. Then blow-dry your hair while hanging your head upside down. If your hair is dry and you don’t have enough volume yet, backcomb your hair here and there. Then create a low ponytail and pull some tufts out of the tail for a casual effect.

Make another donut bun, but this time leave two long strands hanging loose at the bottom of your hair. You eventually twist this around the donut knot. You can also make two braids from larger strands and twist them around the bun.

Comb your hair back, use gel to smooth it and tie with a scrunchie. Use your fingers to separate your curls in the ponytail a little for more volume. Finally, add three striking hairclips and you’re done!

For this hairstyle you need two hair bands that go all the way around, preferably slightly wider ones, made of elastic. You put one hair band in your hair and make sure the front is slightly puffed. You also put the other hair band in your hair, but then over your entire hair. Put it on your forehead for a moment, so that it doesn’t slip out of your hair. Divide the hair that emerges from under the second hair band into sections. Twist the strands around and twist them around the hair band, do this with each strand. Finally, secure the second hair band in the same place as the first and, if necessary, reinforce the entire hairstyle with pins.
