Hula hooping
You probably did hula hooping as a child, but did you know that this is a perfect workout for at home? A fitness hula hoop holds weights. Turn on some nice music or your favorite series and start hula hooping. You train your core muscles and it is a good cardio workout. If you hula hoop for 20 minutes every day, you will see a difference after a month. First hop to one side for 10 minutes and then to the other side for 10 minutes for the best result.
Dance workouts
You get fit and burn calories during a fun dance workout. How nice is that? There are many different workout videos on YouTube that also include dancing. ‘Grow with Jo’ posts various videos with music from various artists. After fifteen minutes of dancing and sweating, you’ll have had a wonderful workout. Choose your favorite artist and go crazy.
HIIT workout
HIIT workout is extremely popular. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. An intensive workout of between 20 and 60 minutes in which intensive exercises alternate with short rest breaks. With a HIIT workout you will definitely get fit, right in your living room. YouTube is full of different types of HIIT videos. Build it up slowly and before you know it your fitness will be great.
Jump rope
Jump rope like the boxer. According to experts, ten minutes of this exercise is equivalent to 45 minutes of running and now you don’t have to leave your house or garden. Jumping rope trains your entire body, your abdomen, shoulders, arms and legs. What’s stopping you from taking your old skipping rope out of the cupboard?
Cleaning the house
No time to exercise? Clean your house and you kill two birds with one stone. While cleaning, you bend over, move furniture and are constantly moving. You can train your shoulders and arms with window cleaning and your arms and buttocks with vacuuming and mopping. Do you give the bathroom a good cleaning? Then you are doing a full body workout. So skip the gym and get into squad pose, unload the washing machine and tidy up your house.
